About The Position

This position is posted as a Room Attendant, but candidates should expect to perform both room cleaning and houseperson duties depending on staffing levels and business demands.

Requirements

Fitness is important as it's a physical role and you'll be on your feet most of the day
Strength – with occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects
You'll might need to bend and kneel to complete some activities
Literacy skills - reading, writing and basic maths skills
Flexible attitude to shifts – you may need to work nights, weekends and/or holidays

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms to brand standards
Support housekeeping operations by delivering linens, supplies, and removing dirty linen
Ensure floor closets, storage areas, and assigned public spaces are clean and organized
Respond promptly to guest requests and service needs to maintain satisfaction
Identify and report maintenance issues or safety concerns
Work as part of a team to ensure daily housekeeping goals and productivity targets are met
Communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects
May have turndown duties
May assist with other duties as assigned
