About The Position

As a Room Attendant, you will make sure our rooms and suites are always fresh and welcoming for our guests after a busy day at work, creating a haven for them to escape and relax in, or get a bit of last minute work done. You will make sure our rooms are always at their best, following standards to make each room special and memorable for guests. You will also be happy to help guests with requests like a toothbrush or directions, keep your supervisor updated on room service progress, and alert them to any repairs needed. Safety awareness is crucial, requiring adherence to established safety procedures and wearing protective equipment when needed. Organization is key to keeping on top of supplies and amenities while minimizing waste. You will be responsible for reuniting lost items with owners and logging any lost and found property. Maintaining a smart appearance by wearing your uniform with pride is also expected. Additionally, you may assist with other ad-hoc duties, deep cleaning projects, and turndown duties as needed. You will monitor and control supplies and amenities, minimize waste, and report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures. Working as part of a team and communicating with other departments as per hotel procedures is essential to ensure excellent quality and service.

Requirements

  • Physical fitness, as the role requires being on your feet most of the day.
  • Strength to occasionally lift items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and/or push/pull heavy objects.
  • Ability to bend and kneel to complete some activities.
  • Literacy skills including reading, writing, and basic math skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities
