About The Position

This position ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed, maintaining a clean and safe work area. Responsibilities include cleaning comfort stations, emptying trash, replenishing supplies, cleaning restrooms, and picking up litter. The role also involves grounds maintenance such as landscaping, cutting, trimming, planting, watering, and weeding. Additionally, it includes cleaning and repairing tables, benches, and arbors, and assisting the public with facility use and answering questions. The Attendant II performs weekly inventory and coordinates with the Project Manager for purchasing supplies.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Cleans comfort stations, emptying of trash receptacles, replenishes restroom supplies, cleans restrooms including walls, mirrors, and removing graffiti when required. Picks up loose litter on-site.
• Performs maintenance of grounds that may include landscaping, cutting, trimming, edging, planting and maintaining bedding areas, watering, weeding, and removing grass clippings and tree trimmings.
• Cleans and repairs tables, benches, and arbors as required, painting and cement patch as needed.
• Assists public with use of facilities, giving directions as required, and answering questions as needed.
• Performs weekly inventory and coordinates with the Project Manager for purchasing supplies.
