About The Position

Gym Attendants are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe workout environment and providing excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for setting up and tearing down rentals, such as volleyball, basketball, and pickleball.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings/mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and/or move over 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Ability to perform work functions with minimal supervision.
• All candidates for this position will be subject to a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of these checks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the fitness and gymnasiums areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Assist with member inquiries.
• Ensure guests adhere to department and facility policies.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues to management.
• Assist fitness instructors and personal trainers with class setups and equipment needs.
• Foster a welcoming and motivating atmosphere for all members.
• Assist with fitness and athletic events as needed.
