About The Position

Attendant Care Employees (ACE) provide compassionate support to consumers and promote their independence. This role offers flexible scheduling, with hours ranging from 0 to 40 hours per week, as determined by the consumers. The position is per diem.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds or more.
• Adequate car insurance (if applicable).

Nice To Haves

• LNA License is NOT required for this position.
• High school diploma not required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, eating).
• Provide in-home care.
• Range of motion/exercises.
• Laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, organization etc.
• Assisting with ambulation and transfers.
• Use of mechanical lifting devices (will provide training if necessary).
• Medication assistance (reminding a consumer of when it is time to take their medication).
• Providing support in the community with running errands.
