About The Position

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) has an immediate opening for an Attendant Care Employee (ACE) in Concord, NH. As an ACE for Granite State Independent Living, you can make a meaningful impact by providing compassionate support to our consumers and promoting their independence. This role offers flexible schedules, ranging from 22 to 10 hours a week, with schedules set by consumers. This is a Per Diem job type.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds or more.
• Adequate car insurance (if applicable).
• Pass criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• LNA License is NOT required for this position.
• High school diploma not required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, eating).
• Provide in-home care.
• Range of motion/exercises.
• Laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, organization etc.
• Assisting with ambulation and transfers.
• Use of mechanical lifting devices (will provide training if necessary).
• Medication assistance (reminding a consumer of when it is time to take their medication).
• Providing support in the community with running errands.
