About The Position

This role involves facilitating attendance recovery for students. Opportunities are available after school, on Saturdays, and during the Winter Break period. Students can recover up to 10 days of absence, provided they were indeed absent for those days and make up what they missed (not in advance). Participation in a full day, based on instructional minutes, is required. A master attendance recovery calendar will be posted on the school website, ParentSquare, and in the main office. There are 2-4 openings for this position.

Requirements

• Must be a teacher.
• Ability to facilitate attendance recovery.
• Willingness to work after school, on Saturdays, and during Winter Break.
• Understanding of instructional minutes for full-day participation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure students make up missed instructional time based on full-day participation.
• Post and maintain the attendance recovery calendar on the school website, ParentSquare, and in the main office.
