About The Position
Flippo Construction Company, Inc. (FCCI) is an "EMPLOYEE OWNED" general and heavy construction business operating primarily in the Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Baltimore MD areas. Our Operational services consists of Heavy Construction, including Bridges, Concrete Structures, Roadway and Site Work. We also provide utility installation, repairs, and long-term service/maintenance contracts for the major utility providers in the Washington Metropolitan area.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Must have a valid DOT certification.
- Must have a valid Flagger certification (ATSSA).
- Reliable and motivated.
Responsibilities
- Direct traffic safely and efficiently using appropriate signaling devices.
- Ensure the safety of construction workers and the public by controlling traffic flow.
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices according to ATSSA standards.
- Communicate effectively with construction crews and other personnel.
