About The Position

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Cook at Lake Granbury Youth Services. LGYS is a secure residential program for at-risk male youth, located at 1300 Crosland Rd Granbury Tx. Through our trained programming for staff, LGYS promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, medical and an outdoor recreation area. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
• Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must have an active driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Ensure that healthy and tasty food is prepared and served to the youth and staff on-site
• Help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen and dining area
• Be an active team player within the department
