Academic Technology Services (ATS) Student Technicians provide front-line tech provisioning, equipment delivery and set-up, and in-person technical assistance. They provide diagnostics and troubleshooting for Student Computer Lab systems and printers, personal computers, tablets, and phones. All services focus on assisting students, faculty, and staff. ATS Technicians are a resource for internet access in the dorms and UW apartments, and facilitate a check-out program consisting of laptops, tablets, and multimedia devices for students. During summer semesters, technicians assist in the replacement of a large portion of the student lab computers. Technicians primarily work in the Information Technology Center and travel across campus to troubleshoot and diagnose systems in Student Computer Labs and other public areas.
