About The Position

The ATS Assembler position is responsible for performing winding, assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and copper fabrication to build sub-assemblies and complete control equipment units. This role ensures all assemblies meet electrical and mechanical specifications, performs quality checks, and prepares finished products for shipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds at waist, shoulder, and overhead levels; perform frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and squatting; and regularly climb up and down ladders in support of material handling and tool use, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including weekdays and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in mechanical and wiring roles
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience using power and hand tools
  • Previous experience reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, internet, and related tools)

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire Main Breaker Units according to specifications and production requirements
  • Perform full mechanical assembly, including: Structural build-out and installation of electrical components
  • Execute complex wiring tasks using schematics, diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Ensure all copper connections meet required bracing specifications
  • Inspect completed work to verify electrical and mechanical performance standards
  • Complete final cleanup, packaging, and preparation of units for shipment
  • Follow and maintain production schedules to meet Main Breaker demand
  • Collaborate with supervisors, team leads, and coworkers to identify and escalate production issues promptly
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment for self and others
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
