About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a ATS Assembler III - Copper Installer- 2nd shift. The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour. The shift hours are Monday-Thurs - 3:30pm-2:00am. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. The Assembler III – Copper Installer is responsible for performing assembly, complex wiring, and copper fabrication operations required to produce subassemblies and final assemblies for Medium Voltage Control (MVC) equipment. This role ensures all copper installations, electrical connections, and mechanical assemblies meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The position also verifies the electrical and mechanical performance of completed assemblies.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution

Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
Ability to work overtime, including weekdays and weekends, as business needs require.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds at waist, shoulder, and overhead levels.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in copper fabrication, installation, or related manufacturing processes.
Experience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings.
Prior experience in electrical assembly or power distribution equipment manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Construct, assemble, and repair copper layouts and related components.
Fabricate and install layout copper to support customer-specific connection requirements.
Ensure copper connections are properly braced and comply with all bracing specifications.
Maintain required electrical and mechanical clearances throughout the assembly process.
Install and wire electrical devices according to bills of material, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Perform visual and functional inspections to verify quality and compliance with specifications.
Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe work environment for self and others.
Support continuous improvement efforts and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
