About The Position

The ATMC Cu Plate Equipment Technician will be responsible for identifying and managing all parts, assemblies, and calibration instruments required for Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities, primarily for Novellus Sabre Plate tools, LAM Da Vinci tools, DNS/SCREEN scrubbers, and other critical equipment. This role focuses on optimizing PM activities, PM Kitting, and ensuring WSS procedures are well-written and updated based on feedback from technicians and tool owners. The technician will monitor, maintain, and perform a variety of repairs on semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment to ensure uninterrupted production flow. They will provide technical support including troubleshooting, diagnostics, adjustments, repair, modifications, assembly, and calibration of equipment according to specifications, blueprints, manuals, or written instructions. The role involves performing routine electrical and mechanical troubleshooting for common area faults and issues, using structured troubleshooting skills to diagnose root causes and implement permanent fixes, and maintaining accurate logs of work performed, modifications, calibrations, and adjustments. Additionally, the technician will maintain area 5S and equipment efficiency requirements.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree plus 2 years industry experience in semiconductor fab or equivalent semiconductor fab experience as an Equipment Technician
  • Strong team member
  • Works with supervision to determine tool priorities and ETA's for returning down equipment to production
  • Experience or knowledge in at least one of the following tool types: Semitool Millennium Platers, DNS/SCREEN Scrubbers 80B and EX tools and/or Novellus Sabre Platers. LAM Da Vinci, TEL Antares.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring, maintaining, and performing a variety of repairs on semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment to insure uninterrupted production flow.
  • Providing technical support in the form of troubleshooting, diagnostics, adjustments, repair, modifications, assembly and calibration of equipment according to specifications, blueprints, manuals or written instructions.
  • Performing routine electrical and mechanical troubleshooting for common area faults and issues.
  • Using structured troubleshooting skills to diagnose root cause and appropriate permanent fixes.
  • Maintaining accurate logs of work performed, modifications, calibrations, and adjustments.
