About The Position

ATMC Films is seeking a Senior Level Semiconductor Fab PVD Engineering Technician. This role involves identifying and reducing variations in process and tool performance, increasing production capacity on new and existing toolsets, and identifying and supporting efforts to reduce defects and scrap. The technician will also define Out of Control Action Plans, improve tool reliability and availability, enhance the cost performance of processes, and improve process monitoring and sensor capabilities. Additionally, the role includes qualifying alternate parts, developing and writing specifications, and implementing Six-Sigma statistical process control methods. The position also involves participating in and/or leading cross-functional and lean activity teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Semiconductor Fabrication as PVD Engineering Technician or Engineer
  • Required proficiencies: AMAT 5X00 Endura and RTP toolsets
  • Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret data
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
  • Ability to deal with multiple issues and shifting priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with multiple disciplines and work together to prioritize issues and solve problems
  • Self-motivated; able to take initiative and effectively prioritize work for self
  • A strong desire to help create a positive, winning, world class working environment
  • Good foundational problem-solving skills with creative solutions and out-of-the-box thinking
