About The Position

This role involves the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment, and associated components. Mechanics are responsible for signing off on their work, maintaining a constant awareness of defective or worn parts, and ensuring a safe working condition. The position may also include housekeeping duties, policing work areas, and maintaining company property. Mechanics will perform all tasks assigned by their supervisor or higher management. When exercising authority under RII provisions, the mechanic is directly responsible to the Director of Quality Control. Attendance at all assigned company training classes is required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check.
• Experience with 757/767 aircraft.
• Ability to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to stand, bend, and reach.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to comply with ATI attendance requirements.
• Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a).
• Shall have a valid passport or the ability to get one.
• Ability to travel to other ATI stations to assist with maintenance at the direction of the department manager.

Nice To Haves

• Parts 121, 125, 145; Heavy transport category aircraft experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment and associated components in accordance with Company manuals, manufacturer’s manuals, including policies, Procedures Bulletins and Orders.
• Sign for work accomplished.
• Be constantly alert for defective, worn or failed parts as well as safe working condition.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as policing work area or repair and maintenance of company property.
• Perform all tasks assigned by the Supervisor or higher management.
• Be directly responsible to the Director of Quality Control when exercising authority under the RII provisions.
• Attend all Company training classes as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
