Athletics - Video Streaming Tech
About The Position
Like sports? Want to be part of the game? Then join our team and get hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of college athletics. At every Yellowjacket home game, a team of students works to give the student-athletes and spectators a memorable game day experience. This role involves working with stream equipment and running live streams for athletic events. Must be a current UW-Superior student. Students eligible for Federal Work Study are encouraged to apply. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous sports and video experience is preferred, but not required, as training will be provided.
Requirements
- Must be a current UW-Superior student.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Employment will require a criminal background check.
- Employment is subject to federal laws that require verification of identity and legal right to work in the United States as required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act.
Nice To Haves
- Students eligible for Federal Work Study encouraged to apply.
- Previous sports and video experience preferred, but not required - we will provide you with training on how to set up stream equipment and run a successful stream.
Responsibilities
- Running Camera/Cameras for live stream.
- Handle stream controls, video switching, going live.
- Manage future broadcasts.
- Upload short video content for social media use.
- Help with setup of stream equipment.
- Keep stream equipment clean and well maintained.
