About The Position

The Athletics Video Producer will assist in the production of University of Miami sporting events on the ESPN family of networks. This role requires the ability to set up and strike broadcast equipment without supervision, assist with equipment upkeep and maintenance, and possess attention to detail with strong organizational and planning skills. The producer must be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with departmental, University, conference, and NCAA procedures, rules, and regulations. This position involves working evenings and weekends as needed and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in live sport production as either a student or full-time employee
• Ability to lift 45 lbs. overhead
• Working knowledge of current industry standard audio/video equipment
• Attention to detail; strong organizational and planning skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience using EVS LSM instant replay equipment or similar product
• Experience using Ross XPressions or similar equipment
• Proficiency using non-linear editing system (Premiere Pro, AVID, etc.)
