As the Athletics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and evaluating youth and adult athletic programs, leagues, tournaments, and facility rentals. This position assists with the day-to-day operation of athletic programs by coordinating staff, independent contractors, volunteers, and facility use while providing administrative support, including record keeping, reporting, purchasing, and budget tracking. The Athletics Coordinator helps ensure athletic programs and services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with departmental goals and community needs. The City of Celina operates on a 4-day work week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Sport Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in athletic programming.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and MVR check.
  • Must possess valid class C driver’s license.

Responsibilities
