As a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will work collaboratively with the primary care and interdisciplinary care team in a health center setting. This role includes onsite athletic training services, focusing on evaluating, treating, and guiding our patient base. The core goal of your services is to prevent workplace injury and treat musculoskeletal complaints within the scope of practice and relevant guidelines (including OSHA). This is a temporary full-time assignment anticipated to begin in November 2026 and continue for approximately 12 weeks.

Requirements

  • Valid Board of Certification Credential of "Athletic Trainer Certified."
  • Active licensure per state requirements.
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2 years of Athletic Training experience preferred.
  • Master’s Degree in Athletic Training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite athletic training services, including evaluating, treating, and guiding patients with musculoskeletal complaints.
  • Proactively identify hazards and risks within the workplace and develop creative approaches to mitigate those risks, creating a safer environment.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment with primary care and interdisciplinary care teams to achieve optimum patient health.
  • Maintain a positive, punctual, and passionate approach to patient care and ensure all services are delivered within the scope and guidelines of an Athletic Trainer and OSHA.
