AMDA College of the Performing Arts, with campuses in New York City and Hollywood, is one of the foremost post-secondary performing arts colleges in the country. The Athletic Trainer provides initial injury assessment, first aid care, short-term injury support, and referral coordination for students in a performing arts-focused environment. The position focuses on addressing concerns that can be managed through brief intervention and referring students to outside healthcare providers when additional evaluation or ongoing treatment is needed. Serving as an initial point of care for students, the Athletic Trainer works collaboratively with faculty, Student Affairs, Production, and outside healthcare providers to support student wellness and safe participation in dance, performance, and academic activities.
