About The Position

The Athletic Trainer provides care to clients in need of sports related rehabilitation services in various settings. This person is responsible for the care of injured athletes from adolescents to geriatrics at community sporting events and on the practice and playing fields. The Athletic Trainer administers immediate first aid and develops a treatment program based on the nature of the injury. The Athletic Trainer communicates with the injured athlete, physician, coach, and family as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field such as Health, Physical, Education or Exercise Science
  • No experience required
  • Experience with a variety of sports programs
  • AT - Certified Athletic Trainer Current certification from the National Athletic Trainer’s Association Upon Hire
  • Current Athletic Trainer license in State of Georgia Upon Hire
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS certification through AHA Upon Hire
