About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Athletic Trainer at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, GA. This contract position offers a full-time position with 11 Paid Holidays, Paid Time off, and Full Benefits offered.
Requirements
- Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
- Possess a Master’s Degree in Athletic Training, or Health Science related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Possess and maintain a current Certification in Athletic Training by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.
- Certified in at least one (1) form of soft tissue mobilization, Active Release Therapy (ART), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (e.g. Graston, ASTM, SASTM), or Dry Needling (e.g. Myopain Seminars, Evidence in Motion, Structure and Function).
- Maintain a full, valid, unrestricted, and current license in a state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- At least two (2) years of professional experience working with military personnel, professional, Olympic or collegiate sports.
- One (1) year of full-time experience must be within the last two (2) years.
- Experience must be in a full-time capacity evaluating and treating musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic or training room environment.
