Makovicka Physical Therapy is seeking energetic, growth-oriented athletic trainer to work with student athletes and in our outpatient clinics. As an athletic trainer you will work in a friendly and engaging environment to help you provide the highest quality of care to our patients. You will be responsible for patient-centered evaluation and treatment for injury and illness under the direction of a licensed physician. Provide on-site athletic training services for sporting competition and events as needed and implement injury prevention programs with student athletes. You will work with a dynamic, team oriented staff that provides outstanding care through comprehensive and customized therapy.

Requirements

• Current NE License or proactive in the application process.
• Bachelors or masters degree in athletic training.
• Dedicated and passionate about all age athletes.
• Driven to provide every athlete a thorough treatment and/or injury prevention plan.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong problem solvers.
• Committed to working with a team.
• Motivated to continue their education and progress professionally.
• Strong at multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Patient-centered evaluation and treatment for injury and illness under the direction of a licensed physician.
• Provide on-site athletic training services for sporting competition and events as needed.
• Implement injury prevention programs with student athletes.
• Communicate with coaches, parents, athletic director and other health care professionals regarding status of injured athletes.
• Complete required paper work accurately and efficiently.
