About The Position

Fort HealthCare is seeking a part-time Athletic Trainer to join their Rehab Services Team. This role supports local student athletes, active community members, and industrial athletes through outreach programs and clinic services. The position offers a blend of working with high school athletics and providing sports medicine services within a clinic environment. Requirements

BLS Certification
Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
Certified by NATABOC
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice Athletic Training in Wisconsin
Knowledge of sports injuries and rehabilitation
Knowledge of emergency treatment and first aid
Knowledge of patient care and athletic training best practices
Knowledge of computer software and documentation systems

Responsibilities

Evaluate athletic injuries and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide rehabilitation services and adjust treatment plans as athletes progress
Deliver injury prevention education and sports medicine expertise
Respond to and manage injuries during athletic events
Use athletic training modalities and equipment confidently and effectively
Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, coaches, and healthcare professionals
Document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and outcomes accurately and timely
Support industrial athlete programs and community wellness initiatives
