About The Position

This position provides security for GLTS student-athletes around the athletic complex during the fall season. The role involves monitoring various areas, being available during games, assisting with late bus supervision, and managing locker room access. The work environment is characterized by frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting, with moderate to loud noise levels. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

• Frequently required to stand and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to walk.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor gyms, athletic fields, weight room, and locker rooms.
• Be readily available during GLTS games and address security concerns if a situation arises.
• Assist student-athletes with late bus supervision.
• Lock/Unlock locker rooms.
