About The Position

The Athletic Coordinator is a part-time role at Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County focused on running sports programs for youth from Kindergarten through Middle School. The goal is to teach a foundational, recreational joy of participating in team sports, emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and the importance of staying active. The role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for energetic elementary and middle-school-aged kids.

Requirements

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule due to the different Athletic programs throughout the year.
• Experience working with youth from Kindergarten through Middle School.
• Ability to foster a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
