About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and team-oriented Athletic Coordinator to lead and support a variety of athletic tournaments, special events, and outdoor sporting activities, with a primary focus on baseball. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between event organizers and facility staff, ensuring all events are professionally managed and deliver a high-quality experience for athletes, coaches, fans, and partners.

Requirements

• A combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Parks and Recreation, or a closely related field.
• One (1) year of experience in tourism, event planning, marketing, parks and recreation, baseball event operations, or a related area.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee athletic tournaments and recreational events hosted at city facilities.
• Serve as the main point of contact for event organizers, providing guidance and support throughout the planning and execution stages.
• Collaborate closely with facility and event staff to ensure logistics, safety, and event standards are met.
• Assist in event setup, supervision, and breakdown as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and promote a welcoming environment for participants and spectators.
• Maintain positive relationships with community members, partners, and staff.
• Attend and support events during evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays, as required.
