About The Position

United Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Athletic Coach for Boy's Varsity Soccer. This role requires a candidate who is not only skilled in coaching but also committed to upholding the school's Christian values and mission. The coach will be responsible for guiding student-athletes in soccer, fostering their athletic development, and ensuring they maintain academic and personal integrity. The position involves leading practices, managing games, and serving as a positive role model for students.

Requirements

Must be a born-again Christian.
Must be a credible Christian role model whose godly lifestyle and character demonstrate obedience to God and the Holy Bible.
Must be able to support and comply with the school’s Statement of Faith and Christian Conduct.
Must be a member of an evangelical, Bible-believing church.
Must have sufficient health and physical endurance to be able to complete the assigned responsibilities.
Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students.
Must have good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Able to work well independently, manage time well, and handle multiple tasks.
Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
Ability to receive and implement constructive feedback.
Ability to work efficiently and quickly under pressure.
Has a positive attitude toward work ethic, learning and development.
Self-motivated, creative, innovative, and strategic thinking ability.
Ability to work well with children of various ages.
Understands the importance of academic disciplines and issues.
High School Diploma
Basic knowledge of rules and fundamentals for sport.
Successful completion of NFHS “Fundamental of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses.
First Aid/CPR Certificate.
TB clearance within the last four years.
Criminal Justice Fingerprint clearance.
Mandated Reporter Training Course.
Sexual Harassment Training Course.
Other trainings as assigned.

Previous coaching experience at middle school or higher level preferred.
