About The Position

The Athletic Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall readiness of all athletic areas, including Levels 3, 4, and 4M, as well as the new court. Key responsibilities include: Stocking & Replenishment: Regularly restock towels, water, and amenities throughout locker rooms, fitness spaces, and athletic floors. Cleaning & Maintenance: Ensure all outer areas, corridors, and equipment zones are kept clean, orderly, and safe at all times. Support & Readiness: Monitor supplies and promptly address member or staff requests to maintain a high standard of presentation and service.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout the shift.
• Comfort with prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching while performing cleaning and stocking duties.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to respond promptly to member and staff requests.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Basic communication skills, including the ability to read and follow written instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous custodial, porter, or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
