As an Athletic Trainer you will work with the providers to help design home exercise plans for our patients and assist in general clinic activities as assigned. These services include, but are not limited to, school screenings, injury prevention programs, athletic consults, injury assessment, and treatment and case management of injured athletes/clients undergoing rehabilitation. You will be extension of providers and clinical staff, conduit to all communication regarding athletes apt, plan, and assist with facilitation of medical care such as HEP, imaging, and continued care. Location: Banner Scottsdale Sports Medicine - 7400 N Dobson Rd. Scottsdale, AZ Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with occasional evening and week end hours Banner University Medical Group is our nonprofit faculty practice plan associated with the University of Arizona Colleges of Medicine in Phoenix and Tucson. Our 1,100-plus clinicians provide primary and specialty care to patients at highly ranked Banner - University Medical Centers and dozens of clinics while providing mentorship to more than 1,200 residents and fellows. Our practice values and encourages the three-part mission of academic medicine: research, education and excellent patient care. POSITION SUMMARY This position administers athletic training services in a community or clinic setting under the supervision of a supervising physician. These services include, but are not limited to, school screenings, injury prevention programs, athletic consults, injury assessment, and treatment and case management of injured athletes/clients undergoing rehabilitation. This position frequently attends practices and games for area schools and athletic clubs and community athletic events.
