About The Position

Super Age is a new consumer brand focus on vital longevity – the lifestyle associated with living a long and happy life. Our flagship newsletter, The Mindset, has over 1M subscribers. This year we are launching two ambitious new offerings: a flagship IRL fitness competition called the Super Age Games, and a versatile training hub called The Super Age Standard. Both of these offerings will welcome a new type of community member into our world: Super Age athletes, people who are training and competing using our methodology, protocols, and objectives. As the Athlete Experience Lead at Super Age, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the journeys of our athletes participating in our immersive IRL event – the Super Age Games – and our digital community training platform, The Standard. Your responsibility will be to ensure that every athlete feels valued, supported, and empowered as they engage with our brand, extending their healthspan through engagement without content and offerings, and enhancing their overall experience. You will be both a partner to, and advocate for, our athletes as we design programming and offerings for them. This role requires a dedicated individual with a passion for athletics and longevity, an innate stance of hospitality and service mindset, and a love of experience design to help develop offerings that inspire and retain our athletes. You will work closely with our executive team, event production partner(s), and community leaders and brand allies, to fostering a culture of inclusivity and motivation for our athlete community.

Requirements

  • Athletic Background: You have a deep passion for athletics, sports participation, or coaching, as well as a strong understanding of athlete needs and experiences.
  • Experience Design & Hospitality Expertise: You have experience in designing and hosting events, and understand how small details shape one's experience, including digital events.
  • Consumer Product/App Experience: You have experience owning product and/or community management workflows for a consumer app, ideally related to fitness. You have a strong sense of how to use user behavior data, user feedback, and product objectives to inform new features that lead to product engagement, momentum, and growth.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Your verbal and written communication skills are excellent, enabling you to connect with athletes on various levels.
