About The Position

We’re looking for an ATC Agent 4 to join our Office of Alcohol & Tobacco Control team to help ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations through the monitoring and inspection of those licensed with, or seeking licensure from, the Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control.

Requirements

Five years of experience in active military service or in law enforcement; OR A bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in active military service or in law enforcement.
Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
Possession of a current Louisiana driver's license.
This position requires the incumbent to handle and carry firearms.
Possession of an active Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification.
An applicant who has been convicted of a felony or who is under indictment on a felony charge will be disqualified until relief from the disabilities imposed by state and federal laws are granted.

Nice To Haves

Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience for a maximum of four years of the required experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise enforcement activities in assigned region.
Manage Direct Report's performance within the region to include case assignments and return rates, compliance operations and rates, and compliant and Investigative management.
Complete underage compliance inspections as well as annual retail inspections per ATC Policy.
