Boeing•El Segundo, CA
•$123,000 - $225,000•Onsite

About The Position

Millennium Space Systems, part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security, is a small satellite company focused on national security space missions, including missile warning and Earth observation. The Astrodynamics Team conducts modeling, simulation, and analyses for space mission design, trajectory design, orbital maneuvers, orbit estimation, space debris collision avoidance, and space domain awareness. Its engineers contribute throughout the program lifecycle, from mission design and maneuver planning through on-orbit operations and end-of-life disposal, and help determine satellite propulsion requirements and maneuver spacecraft during flight operations. As an Astrodynamics Engineer, you will serve as the Responsible Engineering Authority for the Astrodynamics subsystem on a program, study, or proposal. You will contribute to the design of current and future missions and may advance as a technical leader. Experienced team members define methods, tools, and processes, help establish engineering standards, ensure the quality of team work, and mentor and develop other engineers. The position is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed location options. The internal job code is Guidance, Nav & Controls Engr, and hiring is for levels 3 and 4.
