Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of public accounting audit experience
  • Experience leading or supervising engagements
  • Strong technical accounting and auditing knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Commitment to exceptional client service

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion
  • Review workpapers, financial statements, and engagement deliverables
  • Coordinate fieldwork, engagement timelines, and team assignments
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and firm quality expectations
  • Monitor engagement budgets and project efficiency
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Serve as a key point of contact throughout engagements
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates
  • Deliver exceptional client service and responsiveness
  • Identify opportunities to provide additional value to clients
  • Mentor, coach, and develop staff accountants and seniors
  • Review work and provide meaningful feedback
  • Assist with training and professional development initiatives
  • Encourage collaboration and accountability across engagement teams
  • Help develop future leaders within the assurance practice
  • Identify accounting and operational risks
  • Evaluate internal controls and financial reporting processes
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Assist clients with accounting and compliance challenges
  • Support advisory discussions that create long-term value
