We're seeking an experienced Assurance Supervisor to join our growing State and Local Government Practice. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile government audit engagements, working with some of the nation's largest and most complex public-sector organizations, including states, counties, cities, transit agencies, airports, ports, and major federal compliance programs.

Requirements

4+ years of public accounting experience, including State and Local Government audit experience.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Active CPA license preferred; CPA eligible candidates actively pursuing licensure will be considered.
Strong leadership, project management, analytical, and communication skills.
A collaborative mindset and passion for developing team members.
Proven ability to manage multiple engagements while delivering outstanding client service.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee audit engagements from planning through issuance.
Manage engagement budgets, timelines, staffing, and overall project execution.
Review workpapers, assess risks, and ensure compliance with professional standards.
Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients.
Supervise, mentor, and develop associates and senior associates, providing coaching and performance feedback.
Build expertise in governmental accounting and auditing standards, including GASB, GAGAS, and Uniform Guidance.
Support practice growth through exceptional client service, relationship building, and business development initiatives.
Drive process improvements and contribute to the continued success of the Government Practice.
