Assurance Senior Associate
About The Position
CohnReznick is hiring an Assurance Senior Associate to join the CHAMP Industry Group in its Dallas office in a hybrid capacity. The role supports clients in the real estate industry, within a firm that offers integrated advisory and assurance work and cross-functional learning opportunities. The Assurance Senior Associate leads specific client engagements, overseeing planning, execution, and final deliverables. The role also involves developing engagement work plans, budgets, and schedules; participating in proposals; and managing and coaching staff associates and interns. Strong client management, timely communication, and clear leadership are central to the position.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of work experience at another public accounting firm.
- Industry experience.
- CHAMP SEC and PCAOB experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX.
- Exceptional organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts.
- Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
- Develop detailed engagement work plans.
- Illustrate budgets and schedules.
- Actively participate in proposals.
- Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, and provide regular performance coaching and feedback.
- Build the respect and confidence of the team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear direction and leadership.
