About The Position

As the Assistant Hospitality Manager for Culinary & Events, you will support the delivery of elevated, food and wine–driven experiences across our culinary and private events spaces. This role supports a high-performing team delivering curated experiences that highlight exceptional service, culinary excellence, and thoughtful wine pairings. You will partner with culinary, events, and hospitality teams to ensure seamless execution of tastings, private events, and activations. This front-line leadership role focuses on coaching Hospitality Associates, maintaining service standards, and driving direct-to-consumer performance. With strong attention to detail, you will help create experiences that elevate the property’s reputation as a premier culinary and wine destination.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of DTC wine sales or guest service experience with a track record of meeting targets.
  • Confident coaching teams of 15+.
  • Strong wine knowledge and can educate guests on winemaking and styles.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing daily operations.
  • Communicate clearly and are tech-savvy with MS Office, POS, and reservation systems.
  • Can lift 40 lbs, are at least 21, and are willing to occasionally travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of ~20 Hospitality Sales Associates to achieve DTC revenue, wine club conversion, data capture, and AOV goals.
  • Maintain cost controls, inventory, and sales incentives.
  • Uphold guest service standards; resolve service issues.
  • Oversee development and delivery of premium food and wine experiences.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Retail, and Culinary teams on programming and POS setup.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor staff; conduct performance reviews and pre-shifts.
  • Manage daily operations including opening/closing, cash handling, POS troubleshooting, and compliance.
  • Build local relationships, represent the brand at events, and support wine club engagement.
