Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor or Senior Storekeeper, this position provides guidance and assistance to Material Specialists and Handlers. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, training employees, maintaining an organized and clean storeroom, preparing storage locations for new inventory, rotating stock using FIFO and expiration dates, preparing external orders, managing inventory levels within budget, filing requisitions, issuing approved products, controlling waste and spoilage, and performing all duties associated with material handling, loading, unloading, order fulfillment, and related clerical work. The role also involves performing QA/QC audits, housekeeping audits, investigating issues and returns, maintaining BIN Verification records, preparing reports, and verifying piece counts and performing inspections. A critical aspect of the role is the ability to lift up to 60 lbs without assistance.
