About The Position
The Department of Biological Sciences at Ohio Wesleyan University is seeking a part-time instructor to teach Human Anatomy & Physiology during the fall semester of 2026. The role involves teaching three courses: BIOL 251: Human Anatomy & Physiology Lecture (1 section; 32 students) and Lab (2 sections; 16 students each). This is an in-person teaching position, as Ohio Wesleyan is a residential, liberal arts institution that does not offer online courses during the spring and fall semesters. The pay is $5,000 per course. The university is located in Delaware, OH, near Columbus.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Biology or a related field (Doctoral candidates will also be considered)
- Experience teaching biology courses at the undergraduate level
- Currently authorized to work in the United States
