The Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County Association Bookkeeper works independently under the general administrative supervision of the Association Finance Manager to perform technical aspects of accounting data entry (accounts payable and accounts receivable) and functions according to established procedures and policies and to prepare financial reports which clearly, completely, and accurately reflect the financial condition of the Association. This position will assist in monitoring, tracking and verifying all accounts assigned. The individual in this position is responsible for maintaining a complete, accurate, and systematic set of records of all Association financial transactions involving complex accounting procedures. The bookkeeper will track staff timekeeping and maintain accruals and coordinate purchasing for the association. This is a part-time, 20 hours per week, benefits eligible position.
