About The Position

The Association Banking Relationship Manager is responsible for attaining new deposit and loan business from community associations and management companies. The primary focus will be to source and develop full operating relationships utilizing lockbox services. The employee has the ability to manage a portfolio of smaller existing customers to expand relationships. The employee must attend and actively participate in professional groups for the community association industry.

Requirements

• Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
• Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 5 years related experience and/or training, and 2 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and understand general business/company related articles and professional journals.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.
• Community Association Manager's License
• Intermediate: Accounting, Presentation/PowerPoint, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing
• Basic: 10-Key, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Contact Management, Database
• Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Semi-repetitive type work which requires periods of concentration for varied time cycles as prescribed by the tasks.
• Continuously required to talk or hear.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit.
• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.

Responsibilities

• Attain new community associations and management companies as customers that will utilize CLASS lockbox, and manage a portfolio of existing customers to expand relationships.
• Assist associations in utilizing products offered by the bank for investing association reserves and planning cash flow. Make cash management referrals to Commercial Services.
• Handle loan prospecting in assigned territory and provide preliminary underwriting of loans to associations.
• Attend and actively participate in professional groups for the community association industry.
• The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
