About The Position

Company: BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. Job Title: Associate Location: 60 State Street, Boston, MA Job Duties: Monitor and manage data pipelines to ensure the timely and accurate flow of financial and accounting data. Investigate and resolve data anomalies, discrepancies, or errors promptly, ensuring minimal impact on downstream operations. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial and accounting data. Craft and design process workflows to build utility grade production using lean Solutions Engineering methodology. Perform process mapping and documentation of workflows. Connect and integrate data, configuration, systems, and operations dependencies to optimize the end-to-end pipeline. Initiate and drive platform and process innovations to support new business needs, minimize risk, enhance quality, and navigate the changing markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field, and 24 months of experience in job offered or closely related role.
  • Two years of experience in Data visualization tools including Power BI, Tableau, and Splunk
  • Two years of experience in Programming in SQL, Unix, Python, employeeA and PERL
  • Two years of experience in Global capital markets
  • Two years of experience in ETFs
  • Two years of experience in Bloomberg Wire
  • Two years of experience in Process Design and Flowchart Software including Draw.IO, Visio, and Miro
  • Two years of experience in Project management methodology including Agile, Scaled Agile or Scrum methods
  • Two years of experience in Software versioning tools including Git
