Global Finance - Associate (Fund Finance)
About The Position
The Chicago office of Sidley Austin LLP is seeking a Fund Finance associate for its Global Finance Group. The associate will join a rapidly growing, market-leading practice representing financial institutions, alternative lenders, and other investment vehicles on a diverse range of fund finance products and derivatives transactions across a variety of asset classes. Successful candidates will have experience drafting financing documents for complex deals and an interest in highly structured, bespoke transactions. Candidates must be admitted or eligible for admission to the Illinois bar.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with NAV financings, subscription financings, asset-backed financings, or other relevant experience, including secured lending and/or derivatives.
- Experience drafting financing documents for complex deals.
- Admission or eligibility for admission to the Illinois bar.
Responsibilities
- Represent financial institutions, alternative lenders, and other investment vehicles in fund finance products and derivatives transactions.
- Draft financing documents for complex deals.
