About The Position

The Lane Bryant Associate is responsible for creating a hospitable store environment through customer engagement that contributes to the achievement of company goals. The role represents the brand through fashion and product knowledge, integrates the OMNI experience, and helps create a warm and welcoming environment.

Associates identify customer needs through intentional conversations, use company resources to reinforce the brand experience and build lasting customer relationships, and share product, fit, and fashion knowledge to help customers choose appropriate outfits. They also support operational needs, prioritize tasks around customer and business needs, protect company assets, maintain a safe work environment, and follow company policies and applicable employment laws.

Requirements

• Strong sales or hospitality experience is preferred, with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient and confident use of mobile technology, such as registers and iPads, to engage with customers.
• Frequently move or adjust store fixtures and merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds in all directions; occasionally move or adjust items weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance as available.
• Frequently retrieve merchandise above shoulder level, which may involve climbing a ladder up to 12 feet.
• Occasionally replace overhead lightbulbs, signs, or similar items using a ladder up to 12 feet.
