Responsibilities

  • Produce and deliver weather forecasts to key clients in various sectors by monitoring observations and evaluating weather model guidance.
  • Leverage in-house technology and datasets to create detailed text and graphical content for delivery to customers.
  • Generate timely and informative weather impact alerts during active hazardous weather events.
  • Quality control the integrity of forecast products being issued to customers and isolate and resolve issues impacting forecast product creation or distribution.
  • Develop industry understanding of impact of weather forecasts to customer operations.
