The Associate Vice President (AVP), Service Simplification is responsible for leading a new, enterprise-wide service offering that supports Humana’s highest-priority transformation initiatives. This role owns a newly introduced technology platform that leverages artificial intelligence to capture, analyze, and optimize business processes at scale. The AVP will oversee the identification, prioritization, and automation of enterprise processes, ensuring improvements deliver measurable cost reduction, operational efficiency, and enhanced associate experience. In addition, this role is accountable for enterprise software that tracks inquiries and service requests across both IT and HR, feeding integrated service desk operations. Following process analysis, this leader determines the appropriate technology solutions and establishes prioritization for automation efforts. The role requires close collaboration with senior leaders across the enterprise to align priorities based on cost, resource availability, and business impact. Given the scope and impact of this role, the AVP will operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability, driving outcomes that materially improve how work is performed across the organization.
