About The Position

As a part-time W-2 veterinarian working 1–3 days per week, you’ll earn a guaranteed salary with a schedule you control by choosing the days you want to work. A dedicated scheduling coordinator builds your schedule in advance around your preferences, providing predictability for your life outside the clinic. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You'll have a guaranteed salary as your foundation, with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted into additional PTO. You’ll practice across a variety of trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the consistency, support, and stability of a single employer. The role offers flexibility to include surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care shifts when possible, providing a structured, sustainable way to stay connected to veterinary medicine without the burden of shift searching or weekly schedule rebuilding. The practice model emphasizes clinical autonomy with a focus on patient care, not numbers, and prohibits production quotas, negative accrual, and restrictive non-competes. You practice independently but are supported by dedicated medical leadership, mentorship, and a collaborative community of fellow veterinarians. Requirements

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
• Active license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
• Confidence practicing independently
• Strong communication and client relationship skills

• Internship training
