About The Position

IndeVets offers a unique approach to associate veterinarian roles, prioritizing well-being and sustainable career paths over rigid contracts. As a part-time W-2 veterinarian working 1-3 days per week, you will have control over your schedule, with a dedicated coordinator building your schedule in advance. This allows for predictability in your personal life while ensuring you can focus on practicing medicine. You will have a guaranteed salary as a foundation, with the option to earn more through additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted to PTO. You will gain diverse clinical experience by practicing in various trusted hospital settings, all while maintaining the stability of a single employer. We support various interests, including surgery, dentistry, ER, and urgent care, and aim to incorporate these into your schedule when possible. Our model eliminates the need for shift searching, weekly schedule rebuilding, and contracting, offering a structured and sustainable way to practice veterinary medicine.

Requirements

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
• Active license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
• Confidence practicing independently
• Strong communication and client relationship skills

Nice To Haves

• GP, ER, or urgent care experience
• Internship training
