About The Position
IndeVets is reimagining the associate veterinarian role by offering sustainable career paths, putting veterinarians in control of their schedules, and guaranteeing income with hands-on support and a trusted community. As a full-time W-2 veterinarian working 4-5 days per week, you will build a schedule you control by choosing your preferred workdays. A dedicated scheduling coordinator will build your schedule in advance, providing clarity and predictability for your life outside the clinic. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will have a guaranteed salary as your foundation, with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts. These extra shifts can be paid out or converted into additional PTO. You will practice across a network of trusted hospital partners, gaining diverse clinical experience. The role offers the consistency, benefits, and professional support of a full-time employer, eliminating concerns about chasing shifts, income uncertainty, or last-minute schedule gaps. This model provides a structured, sustainable way to practice veterinary medicine full-time with the support and stability to make it last.
Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
- Active license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
- Confidence practicing independently
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
