About The Position

Across Canada, VetStrategy is a network of veterinary practices united by a shared purpose: healthy animals, happy owners. They bring this to life through three promises: Our People Promise – To be a great place to work; Our Customer Promise – To deliver world-class veterinary care, locally; and Our Sustainability Promise – To be a force for good. Guided by their values—We Care, We Dare, We Share—they prioritize well-being, embrace challenges, and foster collaboration. Rooted in passion and compassion, they support their people, patients, their families, and their communities. Crossroads Veterinary Clinic, part of the VetStrategy network since June 2006, has been steadily growing its clientele in Thunder Bay, a city known for its fabulous outdoors and ecotourism opportunities. The clinic operates from a newly renovated 5000 square feet facility that is modern, clean, and comfortable. It features a spacious reception area, 6 fully digitalized examination rooms, a thoughtfully designed comfort room, a spacious pharmacy, one surgical bay, one dental bay, and 3 designated DVM workstations away from the treatment area. The clinic aims to provide a comfortable, kid-friendly, and relaxing environment for patients, minimizing waiting times and offering private examination rooms upon arrival. Equipment includes a digital x-ray machine, anesthesiology units, computerized ear endoscope, blood analyzing equipment, surgical monitors, ultrasound, and laser therapy, enabling first-rate pet care. The clinic prioritizes best-practice medicine with cutting-edge technology, offering a variety of intriguing cases. Veterinarians are experienced in all types of conditions and treatments, handling both emergency cases and less urgent medical, surgical, and dental issues. Beyond routine consultations, services include animal behavior, chiropractic, acupuncture, dentistry, surgery and wound repair, and microchipping. The clinic is looking for veterinarians who share their belief that all animals deserve compassionate veterinary care and are dedicated to providing the finest service.
